Hawkbait’s Adventure  - - - continued

As we have read before Hawkbait was caught in a vacuum of two F-18,s and finally a forced landing in a Florida nudist colony.

After landing and removing my flight suit I had observed several people who had been hiding in the bushes.  Upon emerging from the bushes they had no clothes on!  An embarrassing introduction then took place.  I had explained my dilemma and it was time to get to business and take off more clothes.

There was no way the trike was going to fly out of there.  Nothing left to do now except enjoy the scenery and the Florida sunshine.  All would have been fine except this was a senior citizens facility, no need to say more.  I did my best to comply with the rules.

I had decided to get out of there and return home  ASAP.  So it was put on some clothes and go to town and find a U-Haul.  Returning with a rented truck I had to dismantle the trike, not a pleasant task in the sun ala natural.

Finally it was loaded and farewell to my gracious guests.  I had made it to the first truck stop across the Florida-GA. border for gas and relief.  I was beginning to feel aches and an itching sensation.  Wanting to press on I grabbed a quick snack and coffee, gas and an aspirin and on my way.

As the miles went by they became more uncomfortable, wish I was following those jets now. The end of the day was upon me so it was stop for the night, as I was looking to a shower and a soft bed.  I checked in got ready to shower, then got in the shower.  I was expecting relief suddenly as the hot water hit my body instant PAIN!  Jumping out I looked at myself in the fully length mirror, I was as red as a well cooked lobster.  Now I knew SUNBURN, it was a painful night and trip back.  I had learned a lot from this adventure.
