We are NAF (Newton Area Flyers) We currently have 6 members that are all active pilots or instructors in the Newton area. We are a new club only forming in the fall of 2004 so 2005 is our first full flying year. We hope to bring a social side to the ultralight pilots in the surrounding area and will have the coffee on at Trinca most of the time (Rain or Shine). Don a budding pilot is also around for those with questions an empty cup or needing to get some maintenance completed. We are looking for more members and are hoping to have a summer fly-in probably around August - September. The focus of the club is social with a common theme of education, safety and support. The club is open to non flyers as well so don't be shy. Jim Austin is resident news letter generator and can be found floating around the Newton area in his Trike or hanging out at Newton or Trinca so look him up and say hi. You may also see Bob or Leon with their powered parachutes or Steve and Don happily going over the latest flights. So bookmark this page so you can keep up on the news.
