But on a budget you may be able to get a 1/4 share of a an ex demonstrator for $10-12,000. One thing to take into account that the sooner you have your own aircraft the cost of dual instruction reduced so sooner than later is the best choice. So what is the total, around $3,250 will get you to a Sport Pilot (WSCL) rating less than half of the corresponding cost to learn to fly light aircraft. SO what next ?
